The Artist

Shelly Amor

Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, Shelly Amor has lived a life shaped by creativity. A career spanning Landscape Architecture, High School Art Teaching, and Wearable Design forged an artist with a rare sensitivity to colour, form, and place.

Now a full-time painter, Shelly channels her love of travel and vivid colour into fauvist acrylics — locations seen through what she calls her "kaleidoscope eyes." Her work has been shown in galleries across Ottawa and Toronto, and at a growing number of juried shows.

These jewelled colours raised her spirits through uncertain years. She hopes they raise yours too.
